I’m Elizabeth Norton, and I am behind the brand Party Planning Professor.
After starting as a blogger for the site Loveistime in 2003 and taking a brief break, I realized how much I have missed. I restarted my blogging life and became a blogger for the Cape May Herald Newspapers. Soon after I began the PartyPlanningProfessor.com.
Party Planning Professor started as an network blog that I desired to create to help parents as they celebrate special moments of their life. Party Planning Professor has grown to more than just a birthday site . It now covers more than just an all go-to site for a wealth of party information but also records my life journey as I work hard to balance life, parenting as a mother, being a wife and of course all while keeping (or trying to keep) the party and celebration mentality and never take one moment with the ones that I love for granted.
Even though I am a traditional small town girl, I have learned to embraced and use word-of-mouth marketing. I have been in awe as I have watched and continue to watch social media take grasp and evolve. The more that I sat back and listened, the more I realized that I needed to be part of history in the making.
I am on my way to helping small hometown businesses accept the changing media and reach out to their customers. I now am virtually helping small and large business reach the market with their products online and offering consulting and web design services. I love my husband and two children (2 and 6) and live in Cape May, New Jersey where I have been raised and am raising my own. I am a small town Mom with big city dreams. I was an owner of a birthday party entertainment business for children that was called Fitness Playhouse. Do I miss it? Sure, but when you have children that want their Mommy certainly they come first and I can not do everything no matter how much I try. Did I mention that I also have had the pleasure of meeting 23 foster kids that have left my house but never my heart. I love people, zebra print and being a Mom. Because I have owned my own business I am beyond delighted to work in PR again. I love to create a buzz about products that I believe in.
